SayTime Verbal Clock
SayTime Verbal Clock is a nice little program that
will verbally announce the current time whenever
invoked, using pre-recorded voice samples. It's a
simple shell script that dissects the results
of "date", builds a short playlist on the fly, and
announces the correct time using mpg123. No
compilation is necessary, it works straight out of
the box, and you can easily replace the included
sound samples with ones of your own voice, or
something else entirely.
