DC#
DC# is an enhanced DirectConnect filesharing client with access to 3 times the files of Kazaa, Grokster, and Morpheus combined.
Features:
- True peer-to-peer (decentralized)
- True multi-source downloading, spreading the load on uploading users and allowing for faster downloading
- Auto search for alternates in background for even faster downloads
There are some problems with the current filesharing clients. For many, there aren't enough files to download because not many people use them. For others, they are very centralized and can have server downtimes. Yet for others, Direct Connect included, they suffer from slow speeds and other problems.
The DirectConnect network has 3 times the number of files on Kazaa, Morpheus, and Grokster combined! The clients for DirectConnect are good, but are lacking many features and are very slow at downloading.
With the help of a diagnostic hub that we developed in the process, we have created a great client for DirectConnect.
